Ipek Serifsoy is an executive coach and organizational consultant specializing in leadership, leadership communication, team development, and women’s leadership. She helps clients increase their leadership presence and ability to motivate, influence and inspire others. Working at both the verbal and non-verbal levels, and attending to both one’s internal experience and external world, she helps clients attain greater authenticity, well-being and effectiveness, especially in environments of rapid change, volatility, ambiguity and uncertainty.
Ipek has over 30 years experience working with business executives. She spent the first ten years of her career in investment banking and since then has focused on the human side of business. This blended experience provides an appreciation for both the hard and soft aspects of business, enabling her to engage with clients in a unique and highly impactful way.
In the Leadership and Organizational Development space Ipek worked as a Consultant with Decker Communications/Novations and as Vice President, Organizational Consulting, for Right Management Consultants. Then in 2005 she founded her current consultancy, is consulting. Past and present clients include: Adobe, Agilent, Agios, Applied Materials, Atara, BEA Systems, Chevron, EMC, Estee Lauder, Genentech, Oracle, PayPal, Pfizer, Qualcomm, Recursion, Revlon, Roche, SAP, Sarepta, VMware, Wells Fargo and Workday.
Ipek holds a PhD in Organizational Systems and MA in Psychology from Saybrook University. Her doctoral dissertation, titled “The Leader’s Muse”, investigated the connection between aesthetic sensibilities and leadership. She is an ICF Accredited Coach and IEA Accredited Enneagram Teacher who works with numerous assessment instruments, including the Enneagram, Signature Strengths, Inner Saboteurs, Leadership Circle Profile 360 Assessment, and LJ Map (a values survey). Ipek has studied and taught various mindfulness and contemplative practices as a cornerstone of presence-based engagement.
Ipek is President of is consulting, Founder of Women’s Leadership Circles and President of Deep Coaching Institute. She regularly publishes LinkedIn Articles and has been interviewed by Forbes Magazine. She has completed numerous coaching programs and spent a year engaged in post-graduate studies at NY Theological Seminary. Ipek also facilitated an Interpersonal Dynamics course at Stanford Business School.
Ipek lives in Mill Valley, CA with her husband, teenage daughter, husky and two house rabbits. She enjoys cooking, knitting, yoga, nature, and art.
